Danny Dyer and Daughter Dani Explore Italian Culture in New Travel Show
In his new travel show Absolutely Dyer: Danny and Dani do Italy, EastEnders star Danny Dyer and his daughter Dani journey to Sicily to experience Italian culture, art, and food.
The show’s first ten minutes were predictably filled with expletives and inappropriate comments.
In the opening scenes, Danny and Dani are at an open-air food market, and one of the delicacies on offer is tuna sperm.
Dani refuses to eat it and says she is “going to spew,” but Danny urges her to “get it down ya!” and congratulates her once she forces it down.
Throughout the show, the father-daughter duo teased each other mercilessly, with every other word seeming to be an expletive.
Danny showed off his knowledge of the island and joked that people assume he is “thick.”
Dani mocked her father because he is fasting to lose weight but refused to give up his “Stella and crackers.”
Fans Praise Danny and Dani’s Banter on Twitter
Fans took to Twitter to praise the show, with one commending Danny for calling a volcano a “t***” and another calling it “perfect Sunday night TV.”
Another viewer expressed excitement for the duo to travel to other countries, while a fourth wrote, “I first thought Danny Dyer was an overly exaggerated Eastenders-like character, but he’s actually a top geezer.”
