‘Comedy Central Live’ will feature Mzansi’s finest stand-up comedians


This Heritage Month, Comedy Central Africa and Savanna Cider are teaming up once again to continue their aim to make South Africans laugh.

On September 20 at 10 p.m., Comedy Central Africa will debut “Comedy Central Live, at the Savanna Comedy Bar,” including performances by such well-known stars as David Kau, Jason Goliath, Lihle Msimang, Mojak Lehoko, Rob Van Vuuren, KG Mokgadi, Siya Seya, Nonto Rubushe, and Robby Collins.

Vice President for Humor Central Africa Dillon Khan remarked, “We started Comedy Central Live in the thick of the Covid-19 epidemic with the purpose of virtually bringing people together through comedy and doing our bit to keep the business alive.”

“After the limits were removed, we collaborated with Savanna to bring humour to the streets. Now, we’re bringing all of that fun back to TV screens so that no one misses out.

We’re urging audiences worldwide to let go and laugh aloud with the best comedians SA has to offer after two strange years of uncertainty and confinement.
