Christine Baranski misses ‘The Good Fight’

Christine Baranski has not yet come to terms with the conclusion of “The Good Fight.”

The 70-year-old actress who portrays Diane Lockhart in the courtroom drama series is hard to accept the show’s cancellation after the forthcoming sixth season.

Baranski said, “When people ask me how I feel about it, I always respond that I haven’t yet accepted the reality that the show is ending, the finality of it.

“It has been a part of my life for such a long time. So much has transpired since my beginning. I’ve taken for granted this creative home in which we’ve all contributed, as well as such amazing and innovative writing, and such a beautiful crew and regular cast.”

It was an embarrassment of riches, she said.

“I consider myself the luckiest actress, and I’ve loved my job more than ever in the last two seasons.”

Baranski has some of Diane’s alluring attire.

Despite this, the actress said that Diane’s fashion sense was “a touch too much” for her.

She said on “Entertainment Tonight”: “I grabbed some of Diane’s beautiful coats because they’re such a trademark, you know?

“I didn’t feel the need to take much since a lot of her style was a bit too much for me, and the reason those jackets were so brilliant was because they had to visually stand out on camera, along with the power suits.

“But if there’s one thing I remember about Diane, it would be her clothing, which served as her armor. Her approach to the world via her exquisite coats.”
