A court in the southwest Sichuan province executed Tang Lu.
Lhamo, his ex-wife, was a farmer in the Tibetan autonomous prefecture and a livestreamer on the well-liked Douyin app.
According to reports, Lu reportedly has a history of violently abusing Lhamo.
In June 2020, the couple got divorced. After that, Lhamo allegedly rejected Lu’s repeated attempts to remarry her.
What time did the incident occur?
Lhamo was livestreaming a video of herself in September 2020 when Lu appeared.
He then started dousing her in gasoline and lit her on fire. Lhamo succumbed to her wounds two weeks later.
Lu was taken into custody soon after the murder was live-streamed. In October 2021, he was subsequently given a death sentence.
He was let to see his family prior to the execution, according to CNN.

Tsotetsi and her buddy went to a tavern in Sebokeng on February 2, 2021, in an effort to locate Pitso. Pitso allegedly offered Tsotetsi drink, but she declined.
