Children who have long overdue items from any of the City of Town’s libraries can return their books and magazines without any fines during a special Children’s Amnesty Week

During a special Children’s Amnesty Week from June 1 to 8, children who have long overdue goods from any of the City of Town’s libraries can return their books and periodicals without incurring any fines.

The free pass is being offered in honor of International Children’s Day. Councillor Patricia van der Ross, a member of the Mayoral Committee for Community Services and Health, claims that well than 25 000 items are currently outstanding from consumers aged 12 and under.
