Charleston-based Fitness Coach, Andrew Demetre shares his personal life and professional experience

Andrew Demetre, a physical trainer and health coach based in Charleston, discovered his passion for fitness in the ninth grade when his P.E. coach introduced him to the weight room.

Since then, he has been passionate about achieving physical perfection through bodybuilding.

During the pandemic, Demetre moved to Charleston, South Carolina, and learned the value of increased versatility in his training programs.

He incorporated a variety of calisthenic movements, expanded his clientele, and built his first home gym in his garage.

After all was said and done, Demetre discovered that he no longer needed to follow the traditional model of training.

Many of his clients preferred working from home and working out from home.

Today, 100% of Andrew’s clients are bodybuilders with busy schedules and busy lives who don’t always fit in with the standard idea of what it means to “lift weights.”

Andrew’s passion in life is seeing his clients achieve their true potential, and he believes that he can achieve any fitness goal from the comfort of his clients’ homes.

His programs are designed to achieve gains from anywhere, and all of his clients are extremely busy people with extensive work lives or big goals beyond the gym.

He tailors everything to help them achieve massive results with minimal equipment and, depending on the circumstances, minimal time.

Andrew feels confident in his program and believes that he could eventually copyright and market it across the world at some point in the future.

The pandemic was the most crucial part of Andrew’s professional journey.

During this time, he realized that he could achieve significant results without going to the gym.

When he tried his program with some of his clients and friends who were also going through similar difficulties, he realized that this was something that could work long-term.

Andrew’s best purchase was a pair of gymnastic rings and straps that enabled him to completely replace almost every piece of equipment you would find inside a gym.

His worst purchase was renting for so many years when he could have gotten a mortgage and started paying off a house.

Andrew spends a lot of time studying and researching the latest information about kinesiology, as it is constantly being updated with new data that challenges prior assumptions, hypotheses, and even sometimes, general theories.

He advises college students/new startup business owners who want to become entrepreneurs to be their own bosses, remember that word of mouth is the most important form of advertising, and don’t be afraid to take risks.

Andrew admires Andrew Carnegie, who went from being born in a one-room house in Scotland to becoming one of the richest human beings on the planet.

When it’s tough, Andrew reminds himself that achieving dreams is a step-by-step process, and he should keep pushing and see where things take him.
