Calum von Moger shares statement after coma, criminal charges

Calum von Moger, an Australian bodybuilder and actor, has now spoken up after a “difficult year” in which he was gravely hurt, arrested, and sent to rehab.

On Sunday, the 32-year-old Hollywood actor and three-time Mr. Universe winner posted on social media to update followers on his progress.

For those who don’t know, I had a terrible accident earlier this year and I seriously wounded myself, he added.

“I needed to take some time off to recoup and mend, and I was also dealing with a lot at the time.”

I received all the support I needed, and I’m doing so much better today.

At his house in Geelong, Victoria, on May 6, 2022, Von Moger fell from a second-story window, leaving him in an induced coma and battling for his life.

After spending seven years in Los Angeles pursuing his bodybuilding and acting careers, he moved back to his birthplace in October 2021.

However, soon after his return, he was in legal problems following a road rage incident in Melbourne on January 26, 2022, in which he used a knife to stab another driver’s tire.

A few days later, he was stopped for driving without license plates, and the police found methamphetamine, cannabis, testerone, proviplex, and viaplex in little amounts.

His attorney informed the court that he had been traumatized by a carjacking in Los Angeles, and as a result, the man avoided conviction after pleading guilty to a number of counts.

‘Unfortunately, he spiraled out of control shortly after,’ his attorney reportedly said, according to The Herald Sun.

Von Moger was allowed to go back to the United States where he had a small boy since there was no conviction for the occurrences.

A few days later, he was stopped for driving without license plates, and the police found methamphetamine, cannabis, testerone, proviplex, and viaplex in little amounts.

Von Moger entered himself into a treatment center to battle his drug addiction after recuperating from the fall.

It will be a “tough road” for the athlete to recuperate, a team member said in a post on Instagram.

Everyone who has ever struggled with addiction or who has a loved one who struggles with addiction understands that it is not an easy journey, he added.

“We’ll simply keep being a good light, no matter how gloomy it’s gotten recently,”

Von Moger mentioned in his message that he had left Australia and was now back in California.

He said, “I’m wanting to get back into a good habit.”

“I want to put 2022 behind me at this point; it was a really difficult year for me.

I can see some fantastic new prospects coming up.
