Draymond Green asserts that a fan threatened him in Milwaukee on Tuesday. The fan relates an entirely different tale.
Mike Shane, a Bucks fan, was expelled from Fiserv Arena during the third quarter of the Bucks’ 128-111 victory over the Warriors after Warriors star Klay Thompson complained to officials. According to Shane, it was standard trash talk, and Green was incapable of handling it.
“I told Draymond, ‘You’re getting a pass.’” He inquired, “What pass?” I told him, “Guy, we’re giving you a pass.” He stated, “You’re not s–t. What is it?’ I told him, “Guy, we’re giving you a pass.” Shane stated on the podcast “KJ Live” “He was evidently prepared for it. He was anticipating that to occur. In actuality, he exaggerated the issue. I have no idea how he could interpret that as a threat.”
Shane asserts that he engaged the former Defensive Player of the Year in retaliation for hitting Green’s teammate and Milwaukee native Jordan Poole.
Shane stated, “I was speaking for the city of Milwaukee.” “We’re essentially telling him that we’re giving him a pass. We have not forgotten what you did, but we are letting you off the hook.
We are forgiving you.
TNT cameras captured Green’s side of the interaction, but Shane, who received multiple high-fives on his way out of the arena, had witnesses on his side.
“Two police officers were in the immediate vicinity,” he claimed. “A police officer and league security returned and vouched for my credibility. They were present and stated, “I didn’t use any profanity and I didn’t make any hateful remarks.”
Reportedly, the Bucks took the fan’s side, refunding his ticket and offered him courtside tickets at a future game.
Green was dismissed from the Pacers’ loss on Wednesday night.
