More information about Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo’s unexpected departures from The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is coming to light. According to sources, Glanville was much more possessive of Manzo than we previously believed.
Glanville was asked to quit Season 4 of the show, which is being filmed in Morocco, last week after it was claimed that she kissed Manzo “multiple times” against her will. The former RHONJ actress ultimately made the decision to stop filming on her own.
Page Six’s sources told them that there might be a little more to the story, though. During one exchange, they disclosed that Glanville allegedly “touched [Manzo’s] breast area and vaginal area” while the cast partied in a private residence.
The incident transpired when the two women, former Real Housewives of New York City cast member Alex McCord, and a fourth unnamed cast member walked to the restroom.
Glanville reportedly closed the door and “pinned Caroline against the wall,” according to the source who spoke with the site. McCord eventually unlocked the door after realizing Manzo was “uncomfortable with the situation.” The women’ microphones were reportedly on, even though there was no video of the conversation.
Glanville appeared to address the fresh allegations on Twitter on Monday night (Feb. 6) after the news surfaced. “Check your sources people,” she wrote.
The series’ production company, Shed Media, and Peacock jointly announced their investigation into the dramatic drama in a statement earlier that day.
They told Entertainment Weekly that “the safety and security of the cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously.” Production “immediately launched a thorough review and is taking appropriate action in this situation.”
The first two seasons of RHUGT are available to view on Peacock, even if a release date for the fourth season (and the third season) has not yet been specified.
