Candidates with the necessary qualifications are invited to apply for the Borno State University (BOSU) 2022/23 academic session Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening procedure.
The registration portal for the Online screening of candidates for admission to undergraduate programs at BOSU for the 2022/23 academic year has been made available.
However, applicants who did not select BOSU as their first choice may also register for the online post-UTME screening at accredited CBT centers after a Change of institution/course to BOSU from the JAMB platform.

BOSU Post UTME Eligibility
Candidates who wish to participate in the screening process must meet the following criteria:
The candidate must have selected Borno State University as their first-choice institution and must have attained the minimum qualifying score for the programs for which they have applied.
Five relevant O-level credits are required of candidates (including Mathematics and English Language)
Candidates must have earned a minimum of lower credit on the National Diploma or Merit on the NCE to be eligible for DE registration.
Candidates who do not meet the needed cut-off marks for the programs they have selected as their initial choices but have the necessary score must switch to other relevant programs on the jamb portal.
Candidates for UTME and DE must upload their A-level and O-level results to the jamb portal.
In the absence of compliance, this candidate’s admission cannot be processed.
How to Fill Out the Borno State University Post-UTME Application
1. Visit the University’s website at www.Bosu.edu.ng and then click on PORTAL.
2. Select Post-UTME Portal
3. Select the “New application” option.
The login page will be presented to you.
5. To log in, use your Phone Number as both your Username and Password.
To make payment, you will be sent to the REMITA payment site.
7. Select a payment method (e.g., ATM card or bank):
A. Option for Payment with a Debit Card:
Select the “Proceed to Payment” button
Choose a card type (Master Card, Verve Card etc)
Enter your Card information and ATM PIN number, then click “Submit.” An OTP confirmation code will be delivered to your phone or email to confirm the transaction.
Enter the OTP code supplied to you to complete the transaction.
Two thousand naira will be taken from your account.
After finishing payment, you will be redirected to the registration site to continue the registration process.
B. Payment Option for Banks:
Select the “Proceed to Payment” button
Select Bank; Enter your information and click “Submit”
Print the electronic invoice containing the Remita Reference Number and pay the sum of $2,000 at any Commercial Bank (N2, 000.00).
A payment receipt will be generated by the bank for you.
Sign in again to the BOSU website, click “POST UTME PORTAL,” pick “existing applicant,” and input your Phone No and Password again. You will be redirected to the registration platform to continue the signup process.
6. CHOICE OF PROGRAMME: You must select your preferred program of study from the list of available programs.
7. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
You are required to input the results of no more than two O’ level Examination sittings, together with their centers/examination numbers.
In addition to the aforementioned, DE applicants must provide the institution and class of diploma/statement of results earned (ND, HND, NCE, A level).
8. UPLOADING DOCUMENTS: For DE candidates only, upload scanned copies of the following documents (each document should be between 200kb and 300kb in PDF format and should not exceed this size):
Acknowledgement of JAMB Slip for DE O’ Level Result(s); maximum of two sittings at A Level (ND/HND/NCE)
11. SUBMISSION APPLICATION:
After entering/uploading the required information/Certificates, you are urged to double-check and confirm that all entries/uploads are accurate. The application should subsequently be submitted by clicking the “Submit application” button.
12. PRINTING OF APPLICATION FORM:
After a successful application submission, your application page will be shown. Your Phone Number serves as both your Application ID (Password) and Username. Clicking the “Print Application” option will allow you to print your application form.
