Boris Johnson and wife Carrie relax in the sun on a private island in Greece

Prior to flying back to the UK, Boris Johnson and wife Carrie relaxed in the sun on a private island while on vacation in Greece.

The Prime Minister, 58, was seen getting off the boat on the Greek island of Evia as the pair quickly followed up their first summer vacation with another one.

Carrie wore a pair of denim shorts over a red bikini, while Mr. Johnson was spotted sporting a t-shirt, shorts, and a tiny knapsack.

The PM read a book as his wife basked in the sun as they lounged on the yacht. At 3.30 pm local time, the boat sailed away, and it arrived back at 8.30 pm.

Days before his return from a week-long vacation at Vila Planinka in the isolated Slovenian Alps, Mr. Johnson traveled to Greece.

They seemed to be quite at ease, a local told The Sun. They were making jokes and laughing. While she lounged in the sun, he read his book. They had a terrific day since they left on the boat at 3:30 and arrived back at 8:30.

Six Greek guys rushed to his aid after the boat arrived in the late hours because he required assistance getting off.

While millions of Britons at home struggle with the cost of living problem, Mr. Johnson is receiving criticism over the timing of the excursions.

He has returned to the UK, and according to a statement from Downing Street today, he will start working at No. 10 again in full tomorrow.

The Greece trip comes days after the Mr Johnson returned from a week-long stay at Vila Planinka, in the remote mountains of Slovenia

It comes after he reportedly spoke with US President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz about the Russian-occupied nuclear plant in Ukraine today.

Today’s leaders addressed cooperation on global security, especially the danger posed by fighting near the nuclear power facility in Zaporizhzhia that is now being held by Vladimir Putin’s forces.

In light of their worries about the site’s safety, they applauded the Russian president for agreeing to let the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspect it.

They emphasized the significance of safeguarding the safety and security of nuclear plants and welcomed recent negotiations on facilitating an IAEA mission to the Zaporizhzhia facility, according to a No. 10 statement.

Additionally, efforts to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons were considered.

The Prime Minister appreciated the chance to talk, and the leaders agreed that their teams will continue to collaborate closely in the next weeks, according to the No. 10 statement.

He and Carrie had a quick meal at a place known for its spinach and cheese pies as they bid their Greek vacation adieu.

Just hours before he departed to return to Britain after his weeklong vacation, the pair dined out with friends, including former No. 10 advisor Henry Newman.

Mr. Johnson and the party dined on a selection of famous local dishes including spinach and cheese pies while seated at an outside table and taking in the warm summer evening.

He apparently spotted us on TripAdvisor and the individuals he was with also suggested my restaurant, according to Olympia Banou, owner of Honi at Karystos on the island of Evia, who spoke to MailOnline. We operate as a typical, modest family restaurant and rely on farm-fresh ingredients.

They also ate spaghetti and lamb chops. Everyone knows we make amazing pies. It was a straightforward supper that was finished with pomegranate liqueur and rose wine.

He raved about it and stated it was among his favorite meals while visiting this country. He joked that because he had been eating so well while he was here, he would have to continue swimming when he returned.

As MailOnline reported earlier this week, Mr. Johnson moved to Karystos last weekend. Since then, he has been seen dining at a number of local establishments and even leaving a nice 50 Euro tip at one.

The group divided the bill, so I won’t mention how much each person paid, but they did give a tip, and the employees were extremely appreciative, said Mrs. Banou.

He seemed to be a really pleasant guy, and his wife was beautiful. He was also quite amiable and eager to engage in conversation with both the staff and other customers. Even better, he consented to join me in a photo.

He informed me he was traveling back to Britain on Saturday since he had to be at work on Monday while the group was here for about two hours before they went. He promised to return as soon as possible after saying he had a great time.

It happened just a few days after the couple returned from a delayed honeymoon vacation to Slovenia’s Vila Planinka.

The resort, which is 30 minutes from the capital Ljubljana and is located in a valley next to the hamlet of Jezersko, promises a “soothing balance of energy” and lets visitors eat bear prosciutto.

Lord Rose, the chairman of Asda and a Tory lord, criticized the trip’s timing in light of the rising cost of living and the likelihood that energy costs would increase once again.

A “horrifying” lack of new help was criticized, and he added: “The captain of the ship is on shore leave; nobody is in command at the moment.”

In the weeks leading up to his successor, either Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak, Mr. Johnson “abdicated his duties and bailed on the nation,” according to deputy Labour leader Angela Rayner.

The Prime Minister, who will formally retire on September 5, is now considering his professional future.

Removal trucks were seen outside Downing Street earlier this week, and sources confirmed that preparations were being made for the ‘transition’ to the next prime minister.

In a contentious renovation of his official dwelling, Mr. Johnson is permitted to remove any items he personally purchased, and he and Carrie are reportedly looking for a home in the Dulwich neighborhood of south-east London.

He is said to be in talks with eminent speaking agencies in London and Washington.

Theresa May, his predecessor, joined the Washington Speakers Bureau, while former Chancellor Philip Hammond is a member of the London Speaker Bureau.

Twice-divorced Mr. Johnson, who previously acknowledged having financial difficulties, saw his income reduced when he moved into No. 10.

He received £155,376 year as Prime Minister, but the FT reports that over the last 14 years, he has made more than £4 million from outside interests.

Mrs. May has made more than £2.1 million lecturing in the US, but Mr. Johnson is expected to make far more.
