Mallet, according to Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau, had a “pathological hatred” of immigrants and told detectives, “I loathe foreigners.”

Before committing himself, he planned to murder migrants and foreigners, he explained.

On Monday afternoon, Mallet was due to be brought before a judge and accused with multiple crimes, including triple murder.

Beccuau mentioned a 2016 break-in at his Paris residence, which he suspected was committed by immigrants and which radicalized him.

On Friday, his victims included the leader of the Kurdish women’s organization in France, Emine Kara, who was denied asylum in the nation earlier this year.

This angered Kurdish nationalists, who accused French officials of failing to adequately protect her.

Mallet was identified by a second investigative source as a ‘far-Right racist fanatic’ who had just been released from prison after attacking two Sudanese refugees with a sabre while he was on remand.

Mallet went on the rampage in a refugee camp in Paris a year ago, on December 8, 2021.

The investigating source stated, “He used a sabre to slash two individuals and damage six tents at a camp in the Bercy park in the 12th district of Paris.”

‘He was injured when one of the refugees attempted to disarm him. Two Sudanese refugees were severely injured during the assault.

Mallet was placed on custody in prison while awaiting prosecution for attempted murder related to racism. On December 12, he was released on bail.

In addition to having his French passport revoked, he was prohibited from possessing any type of firearm while under “judicial supervision.”

In 2016, Mallet was also convicted of “violent behavior.”
