Bill Cosby posted a boastful picture remarking that he has enjoyed a year of ‘freedom home with my family’ days after a court ordered him to pay $500,000 to a woman he allegedly assaulted

Days after a judge ordered him to pay $500,000 to a woman he allegedly assaulted, Bill Cosby claimed that he had had “one year of freedom home with my family.”

After two years and 10 months of fighting for her life and the truth, the disgraced former TV personality, 84, uploaded a photo to Instagram with the statement, “After two years and 10 months fighting for my life and the truth – one year of freedom home with my family sure looks good on me.”

(At least, that is what my wife claims.)

In 2018, Cosby, 84, was found guilty of sexual assault. He was imprisoned for two years and ten months.

However, a judge reversed his sentence on a technicality, and he was freed in June of last year.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court concluded that the prosecution broke its pledge not to charge Cosby, therefore violating his rights.

After his insurer settled several other cases against his wishes, Huth’s lawsuit was one of the final remaining legal claims against him.

Cosby did not appear at the trial or give a direct testimony, but jurors were shown brief excerpts from his 2015 video deposition in which he categorically denied having sex with Huth.

Cosby’s longtime agent Andrew Wyatt took today’s Instagram picture.

Due to the fact that the jury did not grant Huth millions of dollars, Representative Wyatt said last week that his client was delighted with Judge Craig Karlan’s decision.

Wyatt said on Wednesday that Cosby called him right away after the verdict to inform him that there were no punitive damages awarded, adding, “He remarked, “That’s a success, not having to pay Huth punitive legal fees.”

According to Wyatt, “He was pleased that no punitive [damages] were granted.”

‘What? According to TMZ, the comedian reportedly said, “That’s all?” before his PR advisor responded with a joyful “booyah!”

A civil court in Los Angeles ordered Cosby to pay Judy Huth, 64, $500,000 last week after she accused the convicted sex offender of sexually assaulting her at the Playboy Mansion in 1975.

At the time, she was sixteen.

When he learned that he wasn’t required to pay punitive damages, Cosby reportedly cheered.

More than 60 women have accused him of rape, drug-assisted sex assault, sexual battery, child sex abuse, and inappropriate behavior.

The alleged incidents occurred between 1965 and 2008.

The Pennsylvania decision was declined by the US Supreme Court in March.

Thus, Cosby will continue to be unhindered for the time being.

The prosecution’s request for the high court to take up the case and overturn Cosby’s conviction was denied.

The Supreme Court rejected the case without comment, as is customary.

The case was one of many that the court announced Monday it would not hear.

Cosby’s spokesperson Andrew Wyatt said in a statement that he was appreciative of the choice.

Activists for women’s rights expressed disappointment.
