Basic Studies Admission Form for UNIUYO JUPEB


University of Uyo (UNIUYO) is currently offering application forms for its Basic Studies course (JUPEB) for the 2022/2023 academic year. See below for information on how to receive the UNIUYO JUPEB Form, available programs, and requirements.

Admission to the University of Uyo’s one-year, non-residential Basic Studies programme for the 2022/2023 academic year is open to adequately qualified applicants.

The following is true for the School of Basic Studies Online Screening Test Exercise:
Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.; Monday, September 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.

The Basic Studies program is intended to prepare students for examinations administered by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board consortium (JUPEB). Afterwards, holders of the JUPEB certificate would be admitted to the University of Uyo’s 200-level degree program via Direct Entry JAMB for the following courses:

UNIUYO Basic Studies Admission Requirements

Admission to the Basic Studies program requires credit passes in at least five (5) “O” Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, Economics, Literature in English, and Government, earned in no more than two sittings on the GCE, SSCE (WAEC/NECO or NABTEB). At the conclusion of the program, individuals who pass the JUPEB examination will be admitted to the 200-level of the various degree programs at the University of Uyo, providing they meet the admission requirements for such programs.

NOTICE: Admission to this program does not require a JAMB score. Candidates who sat the JAMB examination in 2022 are also eligible to apply, as there would be no further application for this programme.

How to Apply for the JUPEB Admission Form at UNIUYO

Candidates must pay a N15,500.00 (fifteen thousand five hundred naira) non-refundable deposit through the Remita Payment Platform.

Registration and Payment Instructions Online

Visit https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals/ or uniuyo.edu.ng (Click the link for e-portals)
Select Basic Studies and then click Create Account
Enter your information and click Create Account
Select Make Payment
Select the Bank or Card Option
Select E-Invoice Generation (Bank Option) or Online Payment (Card Option)
To generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number for payment at any Bank Branch, click Print e-Invoice.
Select the payment type for the card payment option, then click Pay. On the displayed payment platform, input your card information and click “Pay.”
Return to the site, click on the Login Form Link, and input the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number that was produced in order to complete your registration.

Note:

The identical passport photo used for online registration will also be utilized for screening and registration following an offer of admission.
After submission, no complaints regarding incorrect Bio-Data or blank photographs will be accepted.
Applicants that upload inaccurate biodata will be instantly dismissed.

Registration will close on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
The date for the preliminary examination will be announced to candidates.
