Australia’s highest lottery winner’s secrets as Powerball jackpot hits $160 million

The Powerball jackpot has risen to a record-breaking $160 million, making it the highest lottery reward in American history.

The eye-watering prize will be given away in the Powerball draw 1380 on Thursday night, giving bettors a chance to win.

The record-breaking amount follows the Powerball draw 1379 last week, which had no division one winners.

14, 33, 11, 25, 17, 24, and six were the winning numbers, while 18 was the Powerball.

A $2 million prize fund will be distributed among the 15 winners of division two.

A Sydney nurse won the $107 million jackpot, which was the highest Powerball win ever.

Two years after her victory, in 2021, the happy mother spoke forward, saying she mistakenly believed she had won $107,000.

She announced that she had continued to lead a normal life and shocked Australians by announcing that both she and her husband would maintain their jobs.

The down-to-earth nurse continued to lead a simple life, saying that the little things, like more costly wine, that she couldn’t ordinarily afford, had been wonderful.

However, the nurse said that being able to spend time with her family was the true benefit of her world record victory.

“I adore reading, and it’s fantastic to be able to go into a bookstore and purchase whatever book I want.” I don’t take stuff like that for granted, she told 9 News.

And it’s amazing to be able to take the kids on vacation. We never imagined we’d have the money to accomplish it. We could never have it, so having those memories is priceless.

On addition to these comforts, the Sydney family invested in a gorgeous house in the hopes that it would be passed down to next generations.
