Apply for DELSU Direct Entry Screening Form

For admission via Direct Entry to the degree programmes at Delta State University (DELSU) for the academic year 2022–2023, applications from eligible applicants are welcomed.

On Monday, August 15, 2022, online applications will open.

Candidates will be informed in due course of the day and time for screening.

DELSU Direct Entry Admission Eligibility

  • Anyone who selected DELSU as their first university option is eligible to apply for the 2022–2023 Admission Screening.

How to Apply for DELSU Direct Entry Admission Form

Candidates must create a virtual PIN with N2,000.00 at www.portal.delsu.edu.ng (Two Thousand Naira only). Any of the following banks should receive payment.

  • Unity Bank
  • UBA
  • Zenith Bank
  • Fidelity Bank
  • Ecobank Plc

Make sure your Jamb registration number and name are spelled properly. Errors won’t be tolerated.

PROCEDURE TO GENERATE VIRTUAL PIN

  • Visit www.portal.delsu.edu.ng/
  • Click Apply for Admission
  • Click Start
  • Select screening exercise
  • Click Apply
  • Complete the form with valid JAMB Registration Number
  • Submit the form and generate PIN
  • Print out the PIN generated
  • Visit any of the specified banks for payment or Pay online
  • After payment return back to portal.delsu.edu.ng to print the acknowledgement slip.

Candidates are urged to utilise the virtual PIN for payment right away since it will expire six (6) hours after it is generated.

Before completing the form, candidates are urged to read the instructions on the website’s home page.

Candidates must include a working email address and cell phone number so the university may contact them about screening dates and locations.

STEPS TO COMPLETE THE DELSU BIOMETRIC CAPTURING

  • Visit portal.delsu.edu.ng
  • Download Delsubio.zip folder
  • Unzip the folder and open delsubio.exe
  • Enter JAMB Registration number and Surname in capital letters to login
  • Capture your right thumb and left thumb two times each till it turns green and shows Ok
  • Click on save

Note:

  • Candidates must provide photocopies of their identification, including their birth certificate, DIRECT ENTRY registration slip, SSCE/WASC results, OND, A’level, NCE, and Local Government of Origin.
  • Any impersonator detected will be reported to the police, and the candidate they were imitating would be instantly disqualified.
