Apple has announced the opening of its first store in Delhi, called Apple Saket, which will offer customers access to its latest products.
Located in Select City Walk Mall in Delhi, the new store is expected to open at 10am on Thursday.
The store will be smaller than its Mumbai counterpart, Apple BKC, which was opened by CEO Tim Cook earlier this week.
In addition to providing the latest iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, AirPods, Macs, and Apple TV models, Apple Saket also offers space for ‘Today at Apple’ sessions, where customers can learn about the various services and devices offered by Apple.
Apple has also stated that Apple Saket and its other operations in India run on renewable energy and are carbon-neutral.
Gadgets 360 was given a media preview of the store, which features a line of accessories for supported devices.
Apple Saket also includes an Apple Pickup facility, which allows customers to purchase devices online and then collect them at the store.
The new store will stock every product and accessory launched by Apple in the country, and will provide the same customer experience as Apple stores in other countries.
The store has 70 retail employees, who speak more than 15 languages collectively, and customers can book appointments with Apple Experts at the Genius Bar for help with issues related to digital services and devices.
