The tattooed, tousled-haired chef is the founder of the eight-seat, one-long-table Financial District supper club that serves impeccably prepared dishes inspired by his Asian heritage and time spent in Italy.
Tran has also cooked for Gramercy Tavern, art dealer Larry Gagosian’s sushi restaurant Kappo Masa, and San Francisco’s Quince.
Tran stated on his ultra-exclusive pop-up location, “I attempted to give it an art deco vibe.” I was also influenced by intimate, secluded eating rooms.”
According to reports, the couple has been dating for a few months and recently flew to Japan.
