Andrew Tate will remain in Romanian prison for at least the next three weeks, a judge ordered on Tuesday, citing his high flight risk as a self-proclaimed misogynist and alleged sex trafficker.

Following his arrest on December 29, a court in the country’s capital Bucharest denied Tate’s attempt to reverse a previous judge’s decision to hold him in jail for 30 days.

With the verdict on Tuesday, Romanian prosecutors can now request that Tate be detained for up to 180 days.

Tate was arrested on allegations of membership in a criminal organization, human trafficking, and aggravated assault. The judge extended his arrest because he suspected that he, along with his brother Tristian and two Romanian women also involved in the case, would attempt to exit the country.

Tuesday, the court upheld the judge’s ruling that “the possibility of them evading investigations cannot be disregarded” and that they could “leave Romania and settle in countries that do not permit extradition.”

Tate representatives did not respond to The Post’s request for comment immediately.

Andrew Tate, center, and his brother Tristan depart the Court of Appeal after their appearance.

According to Ramona Bolla, a spokesperson for the Romanian anti-organized crime agency DIICOT, prosecutors have already confiscated 15 luxury vehicles, at least seven of which belonged to the Tate brothers, and more than ten homes or parcels of land owned by firms connected to them.

Bolla stated that the assets might be used to “cover the expenses of the investigation and damages to the victims” if prosecutors can establish that the Tates gained money through human trafficking.

Tate used a $2.9M Bugatti to mock environmental campaigner Gerta Thunberg days before Romanian authorities raided his estate and seized one of the cars.

Since April, police have been investigating the 36-year-old influencer, who was born in the United States and holds British citizenship.

The CIICOT has identified six victims who were sexually exploited and subjected to “acts of physical violence and mental coercion” by members of the suspected criminal organization.

The women allege that they were enticed by false pretenses of love before being bullied and monitored by Tate’s organization. A report claims that some women working for the accused sex trafficker were permanently tattooed with the phrase “owned by Tate.”

Other accusers assert that they were never Tate’s victims and that the Romanian “case is built on lies”
