While she takes a break from screens, The One Show’s Alex Jones has been updating her 351k Instagram fans.
The popular nightly show was taken off the BBC’s summer schedule, giving the Welsh presenter some time off.
Alex, whose return to the airwaves isn’t scheduled until August 29, has left for a family vacation with her husband Charlie Thomson and their three children Teddy, Kit, and Annie.
The 46-year-old uploaded a sweet photo last week of her kissing her 1-year-old daughter on the cheek against the stunning Mont Saint-Michel backdrop and captioned it, “Our French adventure has begun.”
And in her most recent post, Alex was more at ease than ever as she uploaded a number of breathtaking images from Île de Ré with the description “Island life.”
The mother-of-three posed for the first two photos while riding a mint-green bike with a basket while sporting a green and white striped outfit, tan shoes, and sunglasses.

Alex smiled at the camera, blending into the background of a structure with a wooden green window and plants beneath it.
The other pictures showed visitors relaxing on a beach with crepes, ice cream, burgers, and drinks while the sky was clear and the water was sparkling.
The information delighted admirers, who instantly flocked to the comments section.
Many of them were eager to obtain Alex’s ideal summer outfit, while many others lauded Alex’s choice of vacation destination.
