“Age is just a number,” Carl Niehaus argues in response to the “blesser” moniker

Carl Niehaus is leading a new political party and is a newlywed, but that hasn’t stopped his detractors from raining on his parade.

The 63-year-old former ANC supporter, whose wife is a 27-year-old woman named Noluthando Mdluli, has responded to the criticism of his marriage.

Wednesday, February 8th, Carl Niehaus shared many photos of his new spouse.

He tweeted, “Three recent pictures of my lovely wife and I. I am certainly a fortunate man”.

Instead of praising the newlyweds, however, Twitter users criticized the couple.

Carl responded with clapbacks to Twitter users who labeled him a “blesser” and his wife a “gold digger.”

He answered with several tweets.

“It’s incredible how people project their own scheming methods onto others…”

Why does it irritate you? Age is but a number.

“Your mental state is deranged.”

“Jealousy makes you stupid.”

The fourth time is a charm?
Carl Niehaus, who has three unsuccessful marriages to his credit, stated in November 2022 that he had successfully paid lobola for his model wife, Noluthando Mdluli.

He tweeted, “Today is a lovely day. I spent lobola on my lovely wife.

In the photographs, the 63-year-old can be seen beaming while embracing his makoti, who is holding her son from a previous relationship.

Carl Niehaus also uploaded a photo of his new blended family, which included his wife, his stepson, another stepchild from a previous marriage named Khanya, and his biological daughter Helen and her family.

Carl was previously married to Jansie Lourens, his childhood sweetheart, as well as businesswomen Linda Thango and Mafani Gunguluza. Carl had a relationship with a 23-year-old woman named Benie in 2019.

In the year 2020, Carl Niehaus met his present wife, Noluthando, at a mall in Johannesburg.

She told The Citizen about their relationship, “I was initially scared to date him since he is white. I was raised in Soweto and had never previously dated a white person. As I got to know him, I realized he was not just nice and compassionate, but also a true South African who did not identify himself by race.

She continued, “From the minute we met, his loving, kind, and welcoming personality swept me away. It is regrettable that those who despise him do so due to ignorance. If they get to know him, I can tell you that their opinion of him will soon change.”
