Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse made their long-anticipated red carpet debut on Saturday at the Dior autumn 2023 male fashion show in Giza, Egypt.
The elegant couple, who have been together for four years, shared adoring glances while posing for photographs at the trendy party.
Pattinson, 36, was handsome in a cream-colored suit and brown turtleneck, while Waterhouse, 30, donned a sheer-overlay purple dress.
The model complemented her ensemble with a strong red lip and black sandals with straps.
In June 2018, paparazzi photographs of Pattinson and Waterhouse engaging in PDA in London prompted the initial speculations of their affair.
The “Twilight” actor was “extremely friendly” and had his arm around Waterhouse the entire time, according to an eyewitness who spoke to E! News at the time.
“They were deeply cherished up close. Robert ran his fingers through Suki’s hair and gave her another passionate kiss.
In 2020, when they were quarantined together because of the coronavirus outbreak, their relationship apparently became more serious.
“Rob and Suki have talked getting engaged, but there is no urgency,” a source said of the generally secretive couple that year. Suki does not exert any pressure on him, and they are both deeply dedicated to one another.
After Pattinson broke off his engagement to FKA Twigs in 2017 and Waterhouse’s widely publicized breakup from Bradley Cooper in March 2015, their new romance bloomed.
At the time, a source informed Page Six that Cooper, 47, ended his two-year relationship with Waterhouse because she “wasn’t supportive of his acting career.”
In a 2019 interview with The Sunday Times, Pattinson discussed the significance of maintaining the privacy of his romantic life. Throughout the years, he seldom discussed his connection with Waterhouse.
When a wall is erected, the outcome is improved. “Allowing others in diminishes the value of love,” the actor stated. “You would find it highly impolite if a stranger asked you about your relationship on the street. It’s the same as when I walk down the street holding your hand and a hundred people are snapping your picture.”
