Bottoms up.

Aaron Rodgers understands what he will be doing off the field as he continues to navigate the future of his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers.

On Tuesday, when appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show” to discuss his offseason plans, the 39-year-old stated he plans to revisit ayahuasca in the near future.

“There will not be another sitting and ceremony prior to the decision,” Rodgers stated on the podcast, referring to the three-night event he attended last year. “Perhaps after.”

Rodgers has admitted using ayahuasca, a psychedelic beverage containing the hallucinogen DMT.

The drug has been utilized as a traditional medicinal treatment throughout Central and South America for thousands of years.

Previously, the player stated that psychedelic drugs not only improved his mental health, but ultimately led to the “best season” of his NFL career.

Rodgers, who himself as a “hippie,” told host Pat McAfee that his passion for “applied medicine” was sparked by a series of on-field injuries.

Rodgers stated, “There was significant thought.” Who would I be without football, without the game?

Earlier this week, during his interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Aaron Rodgers debuted a new haircut.

“Who am I beyond the number 12 you see on the field?” he asked himself, adding, “applied medicine has helped me see clearly.”

In recent years, the league’s reigning MVP has spoken out about his revitalized zest for life and the game, stating that ayahuasca had a greater impact on his life than he could have ever dreamed.

Following the conclusion of the Packers’ season over a week ago, in which they ended 8-9 and third in the NFC North, Rodgers is surrounded by rumors regarding his future. He informed McAfee that he is not “mentally or emotionally prepared” to determine his next steps.

Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb leave Lambeau Field on January 8, 2023, after the Packers’ loss to the Detroit Lions.

“I simply need some time at the moment. Later in the interview, he said, “I do not need to ask anyone to respect my time.”

“That will be the answer until I’m ready, and when I’m ready to give my opinion, as I did last year, I’m either all-in or out.”
