Orlando Pirates player speaks out about his uncertain future

Thabang Monare has broken his silence over his future with Orlando Pirates.

Recently, the midfielder has fallen out of favor with the Buccaneers, and his contract will expire at the end of the season.

Under Jose Riveiro, the 33-year-old has made only six starts this season.

Additionally, a Kaizer Chiefs player was made to beg for forgiveness!

“To be motivated is an everyday thing for me. The Orlando Pirates midfielder told Citizen, “I don’t really have to wait until my contract expires to demonstrate my capabilities.”

That would be equivalent to cheating. It’s a simple matter of being motivated on a daily and weekly basis. Where you constantly strive to be a better player than you were the day before.

“As a football player, you should be motivated every day to seek improvement”

According to rumours, Orlando Pirates have received an offer from North Africa for one of their attackers.

This season, Bienvenu Eva Nga has battled for playing time and has been linked to an early leave.

The Cameroonian forward has been overshadowed by Zakhele Lepasa, Kermat Erasmus, and now Evidence Makgopa.

Reportedly, pirates are also attempting to clear an international berth in preparation for the arrival of new international passengers.

Additionally, the Kaizer Chiefs coach is disappointed for the iconic chairman.

Kick-Off reports that the Buccaneers have received an official offer for Nga from an undisclosed North African team.

This season, Nga has made only five starts and has scored one goal for his team.

In 93 PSL appearances, the Orlando Pirates striker scored a total of 21 goals. According to TransferMarkt, Nga’s value exceeds R8 million.
