RAWALPINDI, 2nd August, 2022 (WAM) — The wreckage of unfortunate Pakistan Army Aviation helicopter, which was on flood relief operation found in Musa Goth, Windar, Lasbela. All 6 officers and soldiers including Lt.Gen. Sarfraz Ali embraced martyrdom, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Director-General ISPR said in a tweet, “The wreckage of unfortunate helicopter which was on flood relief operation found in Musa Goth, Windar, Lasbela. All 6 officers and soldiers including Lt Gen Sarfraz Ali embraced shahadat.
“Accident occurred due to bad weather as per initial investigations . DTF.”
The helicopter lost contact with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) on Monday while it was on flood relief operation in Lasbela, Balochistan.
