Today, the half-brother of legendary musician Elton John brought a ceremonial trident to court before being punished for possessing magic mushrooms.

Geoff Dwight (pictured), 56, of Borthyn, Ruthin, North Wales, pleaded guilty to possessing 'magic mushrooms' at his home in December 2021

In December 2021, Geoff Dwight, 56, of Borthyn, Ruthin, North Wales, pled guilty to carrying Class A narcotics at his residence.

He was fined £120 and forced to pay £119 in court costs after appearing in Llandudno Magistrates’ Court.

As he entered the building, he carried a trident on his shoulder in case he was required to take an oath, but security personnel refused to allow it inside.

When he arrived, he carried a trident on his shoulder in case he was required to take an oath, but security guards refused to let him bring it into the building.

During a search, the Class A drug for personal use was discovered, according to prosecutor Justin Espie.

Nia Dawson, an attorney for the defendant, stated that the 13-month delay in bringing the case to court is the most worrisome aspect of the situation.

A tiny number of mushrooms were discovered on his property. He had forgotten that they existed. They are prohibited by law.

Dwight was self-employed and had an annual income of £6,000. In contrast, his revenue dropped to nil the previous year after the cops confiscated his phone and computer.

He said as he left court that the’religious’ pole represented Sheba and Britannia.Dwight is estranged from Sir Elton and leaves an alternative lifestyle in the picturesque vale of Clwyd making harps and yurts, as well as organising music festivals

He stated, “Brexit has occurred, so we are once again sailing the world’s oceans.” If I were required to take an oath, I would have done so.

Geoff Dwight has had little touch with his renowned half-brother and has lived a “alternative” existence in the gorgeous vale of Clwyd, where he crafted yurts and harps by hand and organized music festivals.

In 2021, he was fined £200 for violating coronavirus regulations by attending an unauthorized rave in the Welsh countryside with more than 200 revelers.

Dwight has previously criticized the portrayal of his father, Stanley, as cold and encouraging in the Elton John film Rocketman.

In the film, Stanley concerns whether a young Sir Elton is qualified for a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music and scolds him for neglecting to practice his piano scales.

Dwight, one of Stanley’s four younger sons from his second marriage, criticized the portrayal of Stanley last summer, stating, ‘That is not the father I remember.’

“Dad had a large heart, and he loved everyone of us equally. He was immensely proud of Elton and all of his accomplishments.

He continued, “This iciness is a million miles away from how my father was.”

‘He was a product of an era in which men did not walk around hugging each other and expressing their emotions constantly, but he had enough of love for all of us.

My recollections of my father as a child are of him giggling and goofing off. If one of us was upset, he would do something foolish, such as imitate a chimpanzee or start tickling us.

The producers of Rocketman referred to their picture as a “fantasy musical.” Stanley died in 1991.

Sir Elton’s birth name was Reginald Dwight, and he adopted his current name in 1972.
