On Sunday, a man from Deltona, Florida was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment for stalking the six-year-old daughter of his neighbor with ominous threats such as “I’ll make you famous.”

According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Mark Greenburg, 55, a resident of Fayson Circle, has amassed 11 complaints in the past eight months from a dozen neighbors who concerned for the safety of their children.

Authorities say he would yell at children and their parents with a megaphone and drive past their homes while capturing children playing outdoors with his cell phone.

Mark Greenburg, 55, was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment of a six-year-old girl in Deltona, Florida.

Friday, the father of a six-year-old girl told authorities that Greenburg walked to the end of the family’s driveway where his child was playing and stated, “I’m going to make you famous” and “I’m going to change you into a woman” or “I’m going to turn you into a big girl.”

The sheriff’s office stated in a statement that many witnesses provided similar reports of Greenburg’s comments to the child, including that he was going to pick her up and take her to Disney World.

According to authorities, the girl’s father stated that his daughter was terrified to walk outside due to Greenburg’s lewd advances.

A Volusia County sheriff’s deputy reported that Greenburg told the children in his neighborhood to stay quiet and follow him.

Mark Greenburg, pictured, followed a 6-year-old child to her grandmother’s house, where he sat in his car and used his iPhone to take images.

The suspect had become increasingly aggressive and frequent in his offers, the father said to police.

Authorities claim that on Thursday and Friday of last week, while the adolescent was visiting her grandmother in another area, Greenburg sat in his parked automobile in front of the residence and photographed the girl.

Sheriff: “Because he was never invited there and had no reason to know where she lived, the family suspects Greenburg followed someone there.”

In a bodycam footage of his arrest, a sheriff’s deputy claims that other children stated that Mark Greenburg told them to remain quiet and come here.

Friday, Greenburg refused to speak with officers.

As he was hauled into detention, Greenburg protested with the arresting officers, requesting them to get him shoes and lock his door.

Greenburg is carried into the patrol car of the Volusia County Sheriff and escorted to jail, where he is being held on $5,000 bond.

The bodycam footage depicts Greenburg, who is 6 feet tall, is stout, and has a long grey beard, fighting with officers who presented him with an arrest warrant for aggravated harassment.

“I will not argue,” says Greenburg. There are two sides to every tale, and you’ve only heard theirs.

Before entering the backseat of the sheriff’s SUV, Greenburg, dressed in a black sleeveless T-shirt, shorts, and sandals, pauses.

He asks, “What do you think about this civil war?”

He was put into the Volusia County Jail, where he is currently being held on bail of $5,000.
