Dr Douglas James Allan Glass became Apothecary to Her Majesty’s Household at Balmoral on March 30, 1988. He saved the late Queen Mother’s life when she choked on a fish bone.

On April 5, he was crowned at Buckingham Palace.

Official advise states that doctors should avoid mentioning ‘old age’ on death certificates.

The description is allowed if the patient is over 80 and the doctor has observed a progressive decline.

It can only be utilized if doctors don’t know what caused the death.

Doctors think the word alludes to the body’s ‘lifetime sum total of harm’

Others say you can’t die of old age. Age makes people more prone to heart and renal problems, two deadly ailments.

Dr. Glass is a GP in Aboyne, 20 miles from Balmoral Castle, where the Queen died on September 8.

It’s unclear if he still works at Braemar Health Clinic, where he was listed until July 2020.

Monday (September 26), he signed Her Majesty’s death certificate certifying her old age.

The 3.10pm death time on the historic document shows that King Charles and his only sister were by their mother’s side when she died in Aberdeenshire three weeks ago today.

It was stated that majority of the Queen’s children and grandkids tried to be with her during her last hours.

Less than 30 minutes later, PA quotes an anonymous source saying the Duchess of Sussex won’t go to Balmoral with the Duke of Sussex. Prince Harry will travel alone, a source said. A source suggested the Duchess could join Harry in Scotland after a ‘change of plan’
