Chloe Haynes, 21, was discovered dead at the renowned city-center hotel at 6:37 a.m. on September 10 after emergency personnel responded to a ‘concern for safety’ and went to the scene.

Her grieving mother, Nicola Williams, 49, disclosed that the closet is likely to have fallen off the wall and crushed her windpipe.

Miss Williams from Wrexham stated, “Chloe left Pwllheli at approximately 7:40 p.m. and they headed to the Adelphi for some sort of engagement celebration.”

‘By midnight, she had been drinking shots and other alcoholic beverages and was a little tipsy, so her companion took her back to the hotel to sleep it off, and then he left.21-year-old ‘beautiful’ woman killed by wardrobe in Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool

‘It appears that she awoke in a daze, not knowing where she was, and opened the wardrobe door, possibly mistaking it for the toilet or the door to exit the room. It was a large, old, massive closet that fell on her and destroyed her windpipe.

Miss Williams reported that Chloe’s companion returned to the room in the wee hours of the morning and encountered the horrifying situation.

The 21-year-old was nicknamed 'birdy' by her heartbroken mother who says that her daughter was 'kind and caring'

She reported that he yelled for assistance, and two guys from other rooms came to assist in removing the wardrobe from Chloe, but it was too late to save her life.

Chloe Haynes, age 21, was discovered dead inside Liverpool’s historic Adelphi Hotel at 6.37am on September 10.

Her grieving mother disclosed that her windpipe was smashed by a hefty wardrobe.

Speaking about her loss, Miss Williams said, ‘She adored animals and was infatuated with her dog named Archie. There are numerous images of them together.

My diminutive moniker for her was birdy. She was so little and small that when she ate, she resembled a bird. She was a person who did not speak unless absolutely necessary.Nicola Williams (left), 49, paid tribute to her 'beautiful' daughter Chloe (right) and is now determined to 'know every detail' about how this happened

In the past year, though, she has emerged from her shell, gained confidence, and amassed a large group of friends. She appeared to have a connection with gay males, which is how she met the friend she traveled to Liverpool with.

Miss Williams stated that her daughter enjoyed her position as a waitress in the holiday park, which also provided her with housing, and was “living her best life.”

She said, “She planned to take driving lessons and had saved a little money for that, and she also intended to go on a trip overseas with her pals.” She was simply behaving in the manner of a 21-year-old.

‘She was lovely, but she suffered with self-confidence, so she did not realize how beautiful she was, which made her beautiful on the inside as well. She was quite kind.

Initially, three males were arrested in connection with her death, but they were eventually freed without charges.

The men, aged 26, 46, and 49, were arrested when Merseyside Police opened an inquiry into the woman’s death, but it was eventually determined that Miss Haynes died “accidentally.”

A file has been forwarded to the coroner, and a pre-inquest review will be conducted on an undetermined date.

Detective Chief Inspector Lynsay Armbruster stated at the time of the occurrence, “We are in the very early phases of the inquiry and are attempting to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of the young woman.”

I am requesting that anyone who was in the hotel in the early hours of this morning and may have witnessed or heard anything to come forward.

As condolences came in for the 21-year-old, a pal remarked, ‘Rest easy, darling girl.’

Someone else chimed in, ‘Absolutely heartbroken.’

A third remarked, “Rest in peace, gorgeous”

Hotel, a 1997 fly-on-the-wall documentary series, allowed viewers a unique peek into the day-to-day operations of the hotel, gaining it widespread fame.

Andrew Sachs narrated the famous BBC series, which reached 11 million viewers after the premiere of the first episode.

In the early 20th century, rich guests who crossed the Atlantic on ocean liners such as the Titanic flocked to the hotel.

The Adelphi Hotel has been frequented by a number of well-known personalities, such as former Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

In the late 1940s, Winston Churchill, a former British prime minister, held strategy sessions at the hotel because he enjoyed it so much.

Another past Prime Minister who passed through the doors was Harold Wilson, whose favored suite was named after him.

The city-center hotel, which narrowly escaped bombing during the May 1941 Liverpool Blitz, attracted celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and Bob Dylan.

And this is not the first time a body has been discovered in the Adelphi. Sir ‘Jock’ Delves Broughton, an aristocrat, was discovered dead in 1941 after committing suicide during his trial for the death of his wife’s boyfriend.
