2023 Elections: Kola Abiola submits PRP Presidential form

The eldest son of the late Chief Moshood Abiola, presumed  winner of the June 12 presidential election, Kola Abiola has submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms  under the platform of the  People’s Redemption party, PRP, ahead of the party’s Presidential primary election.

The submission took place at the PRP National Secretariat in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Kola who disagreed with consensus candidacy, said the party believes in internal democracy and also operates a competitive environment.

“We have two other candidates, we believe in internal party democracy, we are not doing consensus“ he said.
Who so ever wins we’ll all come together and work for the party and not someone calling for consensus”
He called on Nigerian youths to get their PVCs and exercise their right to vote and make a change towards a better democracy in Nigeria.

Earlier, the party’s National Secretary, Babatunde Ali, emphasized on the party’s strategy to ensure a rancour-free primary by allowing delegates to votes for the presidential candidate of their choice at the State levels.
PRP so far, have three presidential aspirants and over twenty governorship aspirants.
However, PRP has extended the sale of form till 18th May, 2022.
