After “hosting a party at his home and filming pupils having sex then sharing it on social media,” a substitute teacher and track coach who worked at two high schools was detained.

In Pennsylvania, Peyton Harris, 20, worked at Juniata High School and Newport High School. During the 2021–2022 academic year, he was also Juniata High School’s assistant track team manager.

Apparently, he was employed by Substitute Teaching Services (STS).

Harris was charged with child sex abuse and child pornography as well as invasion of privacy, corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to a minor, and carrying a false identification card.

While Newport High School said that he was not a substitute teacher there, Juniata High School declined to respond. If he was a teacher at the school, it is unknown from the criminal complaint record.

STS has been approached by MailOnline for comment.

Josh Shapiro, the attorney general, stated: “Mr. Harris was supposed to care for and empower youngsters, but he instead exploited them.

‘These charges are very disturbing. My office has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse of children, and will prosecute the defendant to the fullest extent of the law.’

Harris hosted a party at his home where he gave alcohol to minors that he had bought using a fake ID card.

Police said during the party, Harris secretly took photographs and videos of minors who were having sex and shared them with other people on social media.

Deputy Attorney General Kristyne Crist will be prosecuting the case.

The AG’s office said: ‘Due to his regular contact with minors through his employment, any individual with any information regarding this case or any other incidents related to Harris are encouraged to contact Trooper Micheal Short, Pennsylvania State Police — Lewistown, at 717-320-1010.’
