13 days after election, Scott Morrison finally moves out of Kirribilli House

Scott Morrison, the former Prime Minister of Australia, is packing up his family’s possessions and leaving Kirribilli House, the PM’s official Sydney residence, over two weeks after losing the election.

Two bright orange Allied removal trucks arrived on Friday morning to transport the ex-things PM’s to their family home in Port Hacking, in Sydney’s south.

Despite Labor’s election triumph on May 21, Mr Morrison was called Squat Morrison because he steadfastly remained at Kirribilli House with his wife Jenny and kids Abbey and Lily.

While waiting for Mr Morrison to leave, new Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had to meet with government officials at his Marrickville home.

A mock eviction notice was slapped on the gates of Mr Morrison’s harbourside home yesterday by satirical TV comedians on The Chaser in an attempt to remove him.

Removal trucks arrived in the driveway on Friday morning to load up the Morrison family’s belongings.

The packers were seen loading boxes of personal items, including the ping-pong table where the former PM battled Karl Stefanovic of Nine.
