A 11-foot alligator was seized in Katy, Texas, last week.

As the alligator weighed about a quarter-ton, the cops utilized a tow truck to carefully hoist it into the air once it was safely secured.

A professional trapper straddled the animal and tied it up after authorities responded swiftly to concerns from anxious locals.

Authorities discovered the lizard wandering through the grass near Buffalo Bayou, then captured and transported it after tying it up.

The colossal reptile was subsequently transported to Gator Country, a sanctuary for ‘nuisance gators,’ or gators identified and captured in residential areas.

According to its website, the sanctuary includes around 450 reptiles and is “the only sanctuary for nuisance alligators to exist in Texas.”

The colossal alligator was transported to Gator Country, a reptile refuge and amusement park in Texas that accepts alligators returned after disturbances.

Gator Country is home to more than 450 reptiles and performs both informative and dangerous feeding events when enormous alligators are fed in front of a crowd.

Each year, over 5,000 persons apply for a total of 7,000 licences to collect alligators ranging in length from roughly three to fourteen feet.

Wildlife scientists believe that Florida is home to 1,3 million alligators of various sizes, whereas Texas has only 400 million.

In the United States, fatal alligator attacks are uncommon, occurring on average once a year.
