Musician and producer Zakhele “Zakes Bantwini” Madida has apparently lost his father and although not much is known about the cause of death, Zakes bid his father farwell in an Instagram post and just captioned it with a dove.
Zakes’ wife Nandi Madida also took to Instagram to convey what her father-in-law meant to her and passed on her sympathies to her husband and the Madida family.
Instagram, “I am eternally grateful for the generosity you gave me as your daughter-in-law; you made me feel like your daughter-in-love. You had a wicked sense of humour that we would miss deeply, thank you for making me feel like family and welcome me so graciously. You are now with your maker”.
“Thank you once again, I am eternally grateful. During this incredibly terrible time, my spouse @zakesbantwini, his family, and all of your loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. 🕊❤️💔. “My deepest condolences to @zakesbantwini@heazysa and family#FatherInLove,” she said.
Additionally, Zakes is incredibly honored to be nominated for a Grammy.
Nandi also posted a comment under Zakes’ Instagram picture and stated, “You were so good to your father while he was on this earth, please find comfort in knowing you made his stay here more enjoyable. You were a wonderful son to him, my darling, and I’m sure he’s smiling wherever he is. You now have a powerful ancestor who is with you at all times. May you have nothing but good recollections of the wonderful times you shared with him. I love you very much.”

A number of notable individuals expressed their sympathies to Nandi and Zakes for their loss. It is yet unknown when Zakes’ father passed away.
