According to Golden Arrows coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi, the goal scored by Terrence Dzvukamanja to give the home team the lead should NOT have been allowed to stand.

Vilakazi feels there was a foul prior to the incident and that the officials on the day acknowledged their error.

Since I’ve been in the coaching industry, this is the very first occasion I’ve ever complained about the officials. Vilakazi told SuperSport TV.

“The referee made an honest mistake when he fouled (Ntsako) Makhubela, which resulted in a goal, and I spoke to him personally afterward. Even so, he accepts that.

“It is regrettable that Orlando Pirates must redeem themselves, but not at our expense. This is our occupation, as we are here to compete and fight.

Therefore, others must not interfere with our jobs. If the Pirates must win and have earned it, they will win the game.

“We fought, and we made a strong second-half comeback. We scored the equalizer and appeared certain to score again (the winner). However, I consider occurrences like that to be completely inappropriate!”
