The most popular soap opera in Mzansi, Uzalo, has angered viewers by temporarily writing out Masoja Msiza’s portrayal of their favourite villain, Nkunzi.
When one of his opponents momentarily takes him out, the popular character from the programme won’t appear on the soap opera.
The entire show is carried by Nkunzi.
According to the TVSA teasers, Nkunzi would be pronounced dead from August 17 to August 30 and then resurface on August 31, when he contacts his former stepdaughter Nosipho (Nompilo Maphumulo).
The teasers also suggest that Sbu will be the one to temporarily remove Nkunzi, dubbed “Cool Kruger,” and that his passing will be lamented by the people of KwaMashu.
Because they don’t like the new family, the Magwazas, and think the rest of the ensemble is equally boring, viewers are worried that the show won’t last a month without the villain.
Since his introduction to the show in season three, Masoja Msiza’s character has never temporarily left the programme.
Because he has more powerful adversaries and has gotten away with too many murders in the past, viewers of the serial opera are likewise startled that an amateur like Sbu will kill him.
When Simphiwe Majozi was released from prison by the Magwazas, Sbu (Simphiwe Majozi) promised to murder him and has made repeated attempts to do so ever since.
The teaser for Monday, August 15, states:
Has Sbu been successful in removing Nkunzi for good, which was his greatest dream?
The teaser for Tuesday, August 16, reads:
While Sbu imagines what his future will be like without the Cool Kruger, Nkunzi’s life is in danger.
The preview for Friday, August 26, reveals:
Will Sbu be able to leave KwaMashu in time as he packs up to do so?

Nkunzi promises to become more powerful and pursue his foe.

The Njinji family is so uninteresting, it’s a shame. That Magwaza family figure needs to be killed off because it is just too monotonous.
The sad part is that while being talented actors, Vika and Njinji are not suited for the Uzalo project.
