Last year, the United States spent $46 billion on foreign aid, more than any other country. However, it is concerning that much of this money goes to anti-American countries and causes.

For instance, the US has given Iraq over $1 billion, despite its government aligning with Iran, which poses a threat to US troops.

The US has also resumed military aid to Pakistan, home to multiple terrorist organizations, and restored half a billion dollars to a corrupt UN agency that propagates anti-Semitic messages against Israel.

The US provides funds to countries such as Zimbabwe, Belarus, and Cuba, which have poor voting records against the US.

Foreign-aid policies are outdated and operate on autopilot without considering the conduct of countries that receive aid.

It is time for a determined president to root out these taxpayer rip-offs. As a candidate for president, I promise to restore America’s strength, national pride, and people’s trust.

A strong and proud America will not pay off its enemies or waste its taxpayers’ money.

As a former US Ambassador to the United Nations, I saw how often anti-American countries publicly bashed the US but privately begged for money.

I strongly supported President Trump’s decision to cut nearly $2 billion in military aid to Pakistan and will cut every penny of foreign aid to countries that hate the US.

Our leaders have a responsibility to protect our people and promote our interests, and it is time for a president who will do just that.
