UAE Ambassador, Chief Justice of Russia’s Supreme Court discuss enhancing cooperation
MOSCOW, 22nd February, 2022 – Dr.
Mohammed Ahmed bin Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Russia, has met with Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Lebedev, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, at the Supreme Court in Moscow.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the distinguished ties that their countries share and ways to enhance their cooperation in all fields, especially in judicial areas.
Dr.
Al Jaber underscored the strong relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and Russia, and the promising prospects for advancing judicial cooperation between the UAE’s Federal Supreme Court and Russia’s Supreme Court through increasing visits and meetings as well as exchanging expertise and best practices.
For his part, Lebedev lauded the UAE-Russia friendship and showcased the Supreme Court’s activities, highlighting its keenness to enhance cooperation with the UAE’s Federal Supreme Court.
After the meeting, Dr.
Al Jaber toured the Supreme Court headquarters, and listened to a brief on the legal procedures of the courts.
He also visited the Court’s museum and learned about the Court’s history and development.
