In Pasadena, Texas, a panicked truck driver driving on a slick roadway managed to escape his overturned vehicle within seconds before it rolled off an overpass.

The driver’s truck buckles and falls off the side of the road after colliding with another vehicle on August 18, but fortunately, according to authorities, no severe injuries were sustained. The truck driven by Specialized Maintenance Services Inc. collided with the front of a Budweiser truck while hydroplaning.

A Pasadena Police Department spokesperson verified that the motorist was brought to the hospital with minor injuries and later released.

The official added that it was unclear whether the driver intentionally jumped from the vehicle or was expelled from the cabin as the vehicle began rolling.

The video was caught by Prisco Saldivar’s dashcam when he was driving on the opposite side of State Route 225.

Saldivar stated, “It was like something you would only ever see in a movie.”

The first image of the truck in the video shows it skidding down the highway while almost entirely inverted.

The truck then collides with the elevated highway’s barrier, dragging the enormous rig over the edge.

The driver heroically leaps from the driver’s seat and lands on the highway as the truck begins to slide off the cliff and disappear from view.

The truck is seen on video captured from a service road as it lies on its side after falling from the cliff and landing on its side.

The truck is surrounded by police vehicles as hail continues to fall.

A 22-month-old boy was killed in a similar accident in which a concrete-mixer truck fell from an elevated highway and crashed on an SUV below.

This horrible accident occurred on the Texas East Beltway on August 5th. Three others, including the deceased boy’s twin sister, survived the collision.
