The celebration of Travis Kelce’s triumph will continue into March.

On March 4, the Chiefs’ superstar tight end will host “Saturday Night Live,” becoming the latest prominent athlete to host the show.

Kelsea Ballerini will perform as the musical guest.

Kelce, 33, is coming off a come-from-behind triumph in Super Bowl 2023, when he led his club with six receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown en route to the Chiefs’ second title in four seasons.

In the regular season, he had 110 receptions, 1,338 yards, and 12 touchdowns, which were all career highs.

Kelce is no new to television, however “SNL” will certainly differ from “Catching Kelce,” his 2016 E! Reality dating series.

“At the end of the day, I don’t believe I was accurately portrayed,” he stated on “The Pivot Podcast” in January, adding, “I’m not going back into reality television.”

When Kelce takes the stage, he will follow in the footsteps of Fran Tarkenton, O.J. Simpson, Bill Russell, John Madden, Bob Uecker, Alex Karras, Hulk Hogan, Marvin Hagler, Billy Martin, Joe Montana, Walter Payton, Carl Weathers, Wayne Gretzky, Chris Evert, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Nancy Kerrigan, George Foreman, Deion Sanders, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Derek Jeter,

Kelce may have given fans a preview of his prospective monologue on Wednesday, when he addressed the Kansas City crowd at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade.

Kelce stated, “Let me take you back to the year 2022 in the month of possibly April.” “Players were being signed nonstop. Haters asserted that the Chiefs would never qualify for the playoffs and that they were finished. Let me hear you exclaim, “Hell yeah!” if you knew the Chiefs would win the division. If you thought the Chiefs would receive the No. 1 seed, I want to hear you yell “Hell yeah!”

“I knew it, and so did you, but they did not. Let me hear you exclaim, “Hell yeah!” if you knew Patrick Mahomes would win MVP. If you knew the Kansas City Chiefs would have the best offensive in the National Football League, I would like to hear you say, “Uh-huh… na na nana.” That right there is an excellent one – I like it. If you knew Chris Jones would be the best defensive player in the nation, please say “Uh-huh… na na na.” Well, alright, alright!”
