A young woman, Grace Webster, expressed her anger towards her travel agent on TikTok after she arrived at a Greek hotel to find that it was off-season.

She claimed that the pools had no water and the shops were all shut. Grace and her friend were so disappointed that they returned home the next day.

British tourists tend to flock to Kos every summer when temperatures reach a pleasant 29C in August, while the busy season tends to be between late May and the end of September.

Grace’s TikTok video went viral and showed her trip, which started with an exciting flight but then turned into a disaster.

The streets were completely empty as they were transferred to their hotel, and the pool had no water in it.

The door to her room wouldn’t shut properly, and everything was closed, with men staring and catcalling.

The pair went to the beach, which had no other people on it, was made of pebbles, and had brown water.

Kos Town’s busy streets were completely empty with every shop covered in shutters.

Grace and her friend booked an easyJet flight back home the next day, even though they had flown out from Manchester.

Over 65,000 people liked the video, and over 1,000 commented.

Some people questioned why the duo hadn’t checked reviews before they flew.

However, many people still felt sorry for the pair and explained that in-season Kos is a great hotspot.

Hays Travel resolved the issue, giving a full refund along with £200 Hays Travel Vouchers.

An easyJet holidays spokesperson said that due to the low season, not all the hotel or resort facilities were available, and Grace and Tegan would receive a full refund for their holiday and for the expenses they incurred, and a gesture of goodwill from the travel agent partner.
