Torpedo Trish, an Instagram model, argued that her community service hours should be reduced because she believes they are excessive and she feels ‘out of place.’

Patricia Hadjia, 28, pleaded guilty to high range drink driving after crashing into three parked cars and flipping her Jeep Grand Cherokee in Maroubra, Sydney’s east, on October 16. She was three times over the legal limit at the time.

After blowing a blood-alcohol result of 0.181, her license was suspended, and she was sentenced to a three-year community corrections order with 400 hours of community service in March.

Appearing in NSW District Court on Tuesday, Ms Hadjia’s lawyer Eidan Havas said the 400 hours of community service was ‘offensively excessive’ and asked for it to be significantly reduced.

The 28-year-old, who also works as a marketing manager, told the court when she attended a community service induction day she felt ‘pretty out of place’.

‘It was a bunch of men and they were, like, talking about their offences,’ she told the court.

‘It’s very hard with the amount I’ve been given, looking at doing it long-term.’

Ms Hadjia told the court she has been ‘humiliated’ by the process and was extremely remorseful for her actions, NCA NewsWire reported.

‘There’s absolutely no way I would do anything remotely like that ever gain; it’s been completely humiliating,’ she told the court on Tuesday.

She said she had disappointed everyone around her and was disappointed by decisions.

Her lawyer said Ms Hadjia was ‘willing’ to finish her 400 hours service, but added ‘offensively it’s too much’.

Judge Ian Bourke noted she had already paid hundreds of thousands in compensation and was the subject of media coverage, saying she had suffered ‘significant punishment’.

He said however her actions could have resulted in serious injury or death.

‘That didn’t happen here, but that was a matter of good luck more than anything,’ Judge Bourke said.

The judge agreed to drop her community service hours from 400 hours to 250.

Ms Hadjia was pictured on social media at a wedding with a glass of champagne in her hand just hours before the accident in October last year.

A neighbour who witnessed the aftermath of the crash spoke of Ms Hadjia’s male friend, who made a grand exit of the rolled vehicle.

‘The standout moment for me was when the guy was still in there and he had his head out the window and he put a cigarette in his mouth,’ one of the neighbours said.

Witnesses said they were watching TV when they a thud, and rushed outside to find Ms Hadjia and her 29-year-old passenger pulling themselves from the wreckage.

‘I came out and looked up the road and it was a really strange looking sight, it looked a bit like a UFO had landed because the tail lights were up where they shouldn’t be normally,’ a neighbour told the Daily Telegraph.

‘I got up the road and I could see it was a car on its side, the headlights were on and I could see arms inside writhing over each other … I ran back to my partner and she said ‘what’s going on?’, I told her and she called Triple-0 immediately.’

Another woman said she heard a ‘massive boom’ and joined a crowd of people who gathered to see what was going on.

Ms Hadjia’s sister is Joelle Hadjia, who shot to fame after appearing on the X-Factor
