The teacher’s pet Chris Dawson trial judge has ruled that Lynette Dawson IS dead.

The Supreme Court justice who will decide whether Chris Dawson committed murder by shooting his wife Lynette has determined that she is dead and has disregarded any reports of her sightings after January 1982.

Justice Ian Harrison on Tuesday referred to part of the defense testimony offered by Chris Dawson during the trial as being “fanciful, ludicrous, and falsehoods” as he read from his written reasons for the decision.

In front of a crowded courtroom in Sydney, Justice Harrison said, “I am convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that Lynette Dawson never telephoned Christopher Dawson after January 8 and…that she did not leave her house willingly.”

His Honor characterized Dawson as “an unfaithful and abusive guy” during a summary of the Crown case.

The court also declared that Lynette Dawson’s purported sighting in Gladesville, only months after her disappearance, was a “fiction” and that Ross Hutchins, one of Chris Dawson’s relatives, had fabricated it.

His Honor said, “I am confident that none of the sightings were real,” after discounting any further reported sightings of Lynette around Australia over the years.

He said, “I am persuaded beyond a reasonable doubt that Lynette Dawson is deceased, that she passed away on or around January 8, 1982, and that she did not willingly leave her house.”

As Chris Dawson and his brother Paul came at the NSW Supreme Court on Tuesday for the murder trial judgment, there were anxious circumstances. the red tie worn by Brother Peter

For the trial result, Lynette Dawson’s family (above) showed up to court dressed in pink, her favorite color.

About nine in the morning, a stern-faced Chris Dawson appeared at the court to hear the decision in his murder case, with the accused’s brother shooing a cameraman away as they were surrounded by the media.

As reporters blocked their approach, his brother Peter assaulted a TV cameraman and ordered them to “get out of the way.”

Chris Dawson was asked repeatedly how he felt and if he was ready for the idea of going to prison, but he remained mute.

Chris Dawson had spent the previous seven weeks on bail while Justice Harrison thought over his choice before leaving his Sunshine Coast home in Queensland to go to Sydney for the ruling.

While watching his former side, Easts Rugby Union, play in the grand finals on Sunday at Coogee Oval, Dawson wore a club jersey and welcomed his daughter Shanelle to his house.

Paul, Dawson’s identical twin, and Dawson both played rugby league with Easts before transferring to the Newtown Jets in 1972.

Justice Harrison presided over a judge-only trial and is now outlining his arguments in great detail.

Chris Dawson, the accused assassin, was seen on Sunday at his Sunshine Coast house before taking a flight to Sydney to await the judge’s decision on his guilt or innocence in the murder of his first wife, Lynette.

Shanelle Dawson, Chris Dawson’s daughter, visited her father’s Sunshine Coast house over the weekend before he traveled out to face his destiny. Shanelle was four years old when her mother disappeared.

Mr Dawson, according to his defence, suffers from a fractured hip and and a possible brain injury sustained from his years playing rugby.

The verdict is also momentous for the family of Lyn Dawson, who have invested so much time and effort in seeking justice for the 33-year-old mother of two young girls who vanished without trace on January 8 or 9, 1982.

Lyn’s sister, Pat Jenkins, her brother, Greg Simms, and the missing woman’s niece Renee Simms and nephew David Jenkins have had their lives on hold for the 10-week trial, the weeks since as Justice Harrison has deliberated and, indeed, the empty decades since Lyn vanished.

His Easts supporter polo shirt is several years old, and the weekend’s results were not a conclusive portent for what was to come.

Easts beat Sydney University in third grade, levelled with old rival Randwick in an 13-all draw in the same division, and won 21-17 against Randwick in the first grade Colts.

Daily Mail Australia understands Dawson is not a club member and hasn’t been to Easts clubhouse since 2009.

According to testimony given during his trial, Chris Dawson was “besotted” with JC, the teenage babysitter who later became his second wife and testified about his domineering behavior.

Shanelle, the oldest daughter of Mr. Dawson, who was four years old when her mother vanished, was seen loading her vehicle as she left his home on Sunday after publicly declaring how much she still loves her father.

Four years before, Shanelle had sobbed on live air, stating, “I’ll be honest: It’s not looking good for my father.”

Chris Dawson, who was detained and accused of killing Lyn Dawson in late 2018, pled not guilty and has always maintained his innocence.

The popular podcast The Teacher’s Pet, which was broadcast during the drawn-out trial, was about Lynette Dawson’s abduction from her Bayview house on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Crown prosecutor Craig Everson SC stated throughout the trial that Mr. Dawson’s motive for killing his first wife and disposing of her corpse was to have a “unrestricted connection” with a student identified in court as JC, who was hired to watch their teenage children.

Whatever the outcome on Tuesday, Lynette Dawson’s family will continue to hold out hope that her remains will be discovered since they have been seeking answers regarding her disappearance for years.

Lynette Simms and Chris Dawson were youthful lovers before they were married and had a child, which led to her disappearing in 1982.

The court heard testimony that Mr. Dawson, who was twice JC’s age, fell head over heels in love with her, had a sexual relationship with her, and finally moved her into the family home after Lyn disappeared.

Lynette Dawson’s corpse has never been discovered, and according to Mr. Everson’s circumstantial evidence, the accused killed her before or after seeing Lyn’s mother at the pool and picking up JC from northern New South Wales.

The trial heard two different claims of Mr. Dawson proposing that he hire a hitman to murder Lyn, one from JC, who later became his second wife, and the other from a former Newtown Jets teammate.

JC often testified in court that Mr. Dawson had “groomed” her before “installing” her in the home and the bed where she became “a sex slave” and also served as his housekeeper and the mother of his two children.

Sherryn and Shanelle, Lynette’s two daughters, sat for pictures with a portrait artist who created adorable drawings of the kids, only to learn that Lyn had disappeared and Chris didn’t want them.

All of Lyn’s possessions, including her wedding and engagement rings, clothing, eyeglasses, and nursing credentials, were at the home.

Lynette Dawson’s friends, coworkers, neighbors, and a coworker all testified that they had seen her with bruises, heard her say her husband had beaten her, or had actually seen him do it.

Pauline David, the defense attorney for Mr. Dawson, said that the young mother had just up and left and had left of her own free choice even though she had not been in touch with her mother or other family members since January 1982.

Ms. David listed five reported sightings, including one in the Gladesville neighborhood of Sydney, one while working at a hospital, one at a hotel close to Lake Macquarie, and one when Princess Diana and Prince Charles were on their 1983 royal trip.

Lyn Dawson may have “established a new life,” encountered misfortune and subsequently passed away, or even committed suicide, according to Ms. David’s speculation.

The family of Lyn Dawson noted that they would never give up looking for her remains, despite the trial’s completion and Justice Harrison’s ruling.

David Jenkins, a nephew, tweeted over the weekend that on Tuesday, “after 40 years, we’ll find out if the evidence against Lyn’s (the suspected killer’s) murderer was strong enough.”

In any case, until Lyn returns home, this isn’t over.
