Musa Mseleku, a polygamist and reality television celebrity, and his third wife, Thobile ‘MaKhumalo’ Khumalo, posted photos of their traditional ceremony on Instagram on Friday.
At their Umembeso ceremony, the pair looked absolutely stunning as they accepted presents, clothing, and food.
Mseleku asserts that MaKhumalo joined the family when she was 18 years old.
On Instagram, he expressed his appreciation for his third wife by writing,
“When you decided at the age of 18 to join the Mselekus, our ancestors were smiling. Thank you, Mzilikazi.” Thank you, MaNgwabe, for your unwavering support, and thank you, INdlunkulu MaCele and MaYeni, for permitting her to join the family and become a sister wife. You will eternally be in our debt.
MaKhumalo and her dashing hubby radiated with smiles and style in their fashionable attire.
The stunning bride had two clothing changes, appearing first in a gold mermaid gown and then in a shorter brilliant pink beaded dress with a silver cloak.
Mseleku coordinated with MaKhumalo’s attire by donning a silver suit with a pink pocket square.
TshisaLive reports that Mseleku’s two previous wives declined to participate in the event.
Supposedly, Macele responded, “Thank you for the invitation. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend because Musa Mseleku will be present. If Musa Mseleku were absent from the event, I would attend. I won’t be attending because I’m finished with wedding celebrations.”
Also absent was MaYeni, who reportedly stated, “I won’t be able to go. It’s not that I don’t want to support you guys, as you always do when we have events for Mseleku. But as far as I can tell, you are the one who has the Umembeso. If you’re receiving a present, the occasion is yours, not mine.”
