Tenders welcome to deliver housing and debt contract work and Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme services

Tender housing and debt
From September 12, 2022, to August 31, 2023, we’re looking for bids to complete housing and debt contract work in the following procurement areas:

  1. City of Kingston upon Hull
  2. Cheshire
  3. Shropshire
  4. Staffordshire
  5. South east Wales
  6. South Tyneside
  7. Wigan

Any organisation that can achieve the minimal tender standards is eligible to supply housing and debt services.

To submit a bid for this opportunity, an organisation does not have to be a present supplier of legal aid.

While we prefer that businesses begin providing work on or before September 12, 2022, businesses who are unable to do so might submit a bid to begin delivering work later.

The number of contracts that can be granted to provide housing and debt services in a procurement region is unlimited.

In a procurement region, applicants may submit a bid to provide housing and debt services through one of two offices: either a *permanent presence in the procurement area or a *part-time presence

The HPCDS bid

Additionally, we are seeking bids for the following Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme (HPCDS) services:

  1. Crewe
  2. Hull
  3. Stafford
  4. Walsall
  5. Wigan

Except for Wigan HPCDS, which will begin on 1 October 2022, services will begin on 12 September and run through 30 September 2023.

Companies that are unable to begin delivering work on that date may submit a tender to begin delivering work on a later date.

Through this procurement process, organisations may submit bids for HPCDS contract work as well as housing and debt contract work.

They are not required to submit bids for HPCDS, housing, and debt.

However, organisations vying for an HPCDS contract must be in possession of a 2018 Standard Civil Contract or have won a bid for one as part of this procurement process.

In the legal categories of housing and debt, authorization must be included.

The following organisations will be given preference when HPCDS contracts are awarded: able to begin providing services on the contract start date *with recent and pertinent experience providing HPCDS services *with an office in the relevant housing and debt procurement area

Each of the aforementioned HPCDS areas is up for one contract to be awarded by the Legal Aid Agency (LAA).

How to use

The LAA’s e-Tendering system must be used to submit bids.

Tender closing date
The bid period begins on July 27 and ends on August 17 at 5:00 p.m.
