Sule Lamido University (SLU) Supplemental Application

Admission into the Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, School of Preliminary Studies, Remedial Programme for the 2022/23 academic year is open to appropriately qualified applicants.

Applicants for Remedial Studies must have earned three (3) credits and two (2) passes on the SSCE O-Level in subjects covered by the Remedial Programme. Applicants to Remedial Arts must have at least a passing grade in English Language, while those to Science must have at least a passing grade in Mathematics.

To register, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to the Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa website at www.slu.edu.ng, click on admission, and then choose online application, or go directly to admissions.slu.edu.ng. Select the programme for which you are applying, and then click the Apply button to establish an account using your email address and a password of your choosing.

Log in with your email address and password to submit a photo and edit your profile.

Step 3: Select the program of your choosing, i.e. Remedial Arts or Science, and provide your O-Level results and subject combination for IJMB candidates.

Create a payment invoice or pay directly.

Pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) as the Remedial Application Fee via REMITA on the SLU Admission Portal (excluding of REMITA charges).

Create your Acknowledgment Slip in Step 6.

All successful applicants must report to the School of Preliminary Studies between Monday, January 2, 2023, and Friday, January 13, 2023, to collect their admission letters. Candidates should be aware that registration begins and ends with the acquisition of admission letters.

During the Registration Exercise, candidates MUST provide the originals and photocopies of the following papers.

Slip of Acknowledgment.
Verification of Payment (RRR Receipt).
WAEC, SSCE, and NECO Statements of Result, or their equivalents, are acceptable.
Two current images of passport size with a white backdrop.
Certificate of Indigenous ancestry
Certificate of birth or sworn statement of age.

Candidates must closely comply to the existing preventative measures for Covid-19, including as maintaining a physical distance, regularly washing their hands and/or using hand sanitizer, and wearing face masks.
