In a terrifying attack, a Siberian tiger burst through the window of a Russian home and mauled a 19-year-old guy before his cousin shot the wild animal.
East2West News said on Wednesday that Sergey Kyalundzyuga was fishing with his cousin and another man in eastern Russia, where a lack of food has left a growing number of tigers starving.
Outside, they heard a noise. “As Sergey approached the window, a male tiger flew in and shattered the glass with his head,” a source told the publication.
According to the publication, the giant cat mauled Kyalundzyuga, leaving him with severe head, neck, and arm injuries before his cousin Alexander killed it.

Kyalundzyuga, who apparently lost a significant amount of blood during the vicious attack, was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Khabarovsk, where he remains in intensive care following surgery.
In the incident, Alexander suffered less severe injuries. No such incidents have previously been documented.
A gruesome video depicts the dead tiger lying on the ground.
“As soon as it detected movement [of the curtain], it attacked the window. And in an instant, he was inside. One second,” a rescuer remarked.
Expert on tigers Sergey Aramilev stated that the dead tiger was investigated for indications of the peculiar behavior.
“The analysis will also help to determine the reasons for the attack,” he stated. “The tiger appears malnourished. This could be the reason for the attack on the man.”
East2West stated that the footage depicts the awful aftermath of another tiger attack, this time on Alexander Poznyak, 56, of Sakhalin in the Sovetsko-Gavansky district.
The victim, a fur merchant, was reportedly slain when he attempted to defend himself with a knife since he did not have time to draw his revolver.
