SEOUL, 16th June, 2022 (WAM) — South Korea reported 7,198 new coronavirus infections and nine deaths during the past 24 hours.

Yonhap News Agency quoted the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency as saying that the infection toll rose to 18,263,643 and the death toll reached 24,416.
