Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina got into a heated exchange with an audience member at the Palmetto Family Matters Conservative Forum.

The attendee accused Graham of being a ‘warmonger’ and ‘not a real conservative’ due to his support for the U.S. sending financial and arms aid to Ukraine in its war with Russia. Graham responded by telling the man to ‘shut up,’ ‘get out of here,’ and ‘get elected’ if he wants to speak on stage.

Despite the outburst, Graham stood his ground on the topic of the GOP’s wavering support for sending aid to Ukraine, citing family values as a reason to support Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.

Graham defended his position and expressed concern over the potential consequences if Putin’s aggression goes unchecked.

Graham’s clash with the audience member occurred at an early presidential forum in his home state. He was prompted by the MC and moderator to speak on the hot topic of the GOP’s support for Ukraine.

Graham is the only non-first term senator who has backed former President Donald Trump’s third bid for the White House.

The conservative forum in Charleston, South Carolina, featured other speakers, including Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana and former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson. It concluded with speeches from already-announced presidential candidates Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy.
