Russia registers 5,089 new COVID-19 cases, 96 deaths in past 24 hours

MOSCOW, 20th May, 2022 (WAM) — Russia has registered 5,089 new cases of COVID-19, as well as 2,081 hospitalisations and 96 deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Friday.

Another 96 patients died from Covid-19 over the past day, as against 97 the day before, Interfax news agency reported.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 18,283,706 cases of Covid-19, including 378,168 deaths and 17,676,801 recoveries.
